Walks, hikes & scrambles
http://www.mudandroutes.com/capel-curig-lakes/
This is a straightforward circuit that starts from the footpath next to the church and you can do it at almost any time of the year. Starting from Capel Curig, the route travels over moorland, into two beautiful valleys containing lakes, and finally some forestry. Its highest point is only about 340m, and the distance about 15km.

This is a shorter version of the above walk and only goes to one of the lakes. It’s also a great run.

This is a nice circular walk around the village.

If you’d like to walk up Siabod which is a mountain right in the village this is the best route.

This is the classic route up Snowdon and starts from Pen y Pass which is near to the church.
https://www.mudandroutes.com/routes/the-snowdon-horseshoe-classic-scrambling-route/
The Snowdon Horseshoe is a wonderful hike but not for the fainthearted as it’s exposed and fairly long. If you are thinking about this then please read the route description carefully to check that all your party are capable.
