Capel Curig is a beautiful village in the mountains with two fantastic pubs, three cafes and two mountaineering shops. It is in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park and is therefore a great place for hiking and rock climbing.
The area has walks for all abilities whether you want the challenge of climbing Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales or prefer walks around the many lakes, in forests or along the coastline. We have a varied terrain here in Snowdonia from rugged mountain peaks, long sandy beaches to crystal clear lakes and rivers.
We are also Wales’s undisputed activity hub and have all kinds of outdoor activities on offer like mountain biking, cycling, climbing, horse riding, white water rafting, kayaking, golfing, canyoning, birdwatching, caving and surfing.
We have the fastest and longest zip wire in the world seven miles away. Giant trampolines in caves, Surf Snowdonia, the incredible Go Below cave adventure and also downhill bike trails with an uplift.
